i just didn't like being in that position...

Oh well, I MUST DO something about it this afternoon.....


Well today, i just would like to share how happy I am with my grandmother's fast recovery.
She is sick you know. Spinal stenosis. had a problem with brittle spinal bones so they compress the nerves and impair the function of that nerve... Well i know you're not interested in me discussing Anatomy and physiology so I'll stop at that.

What you need to know is she had difficulty moving (even simple turning motions dear), and her bowel and bladder habits were affected. She lost much control over it. So here i am, assisting her to move, to turn, to sit, to stand, to walk, to put on diapers, to dress, to bathe, to go to the bathroom, to eat, to take medications, etc. etc.

It was a tough job, actually. Well, a good thing that i'm a Nursing student at least I'm quite used to doing some of those things. But it was really difficult. Especially during the first week when mom and I had to do all things because we haven't found a maid yet.

I'm happy because she is showing a lot of improvement. There's an indescribable strength and resilience in my 85-year old grandmother... i really admire her.

I bet a few weeks more and she'll be back to her old self. (hopefully)

There's so much more that i'd like to share and tell you guys but bye for now,,, I've got other things to do...
